Ingredients You’ll Need
These cookies require the basic ingredients to create cookies; butter, sugar, eggs and flour. But these aren’t just any cookies. These are the most delicious homemade cookies you’ll ever try, meaning there are a few extra crucial ingredients that truly make these cookies the best. Don’t worry it’s nothing too expensive.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Flour | Use plain flour as self-rasing flour gives these cookies a cake texture
- Butter | Normal butter works just as well as baking butter blocks ( I just found it cheaper to use the blocks of butter)
- Brown Sugar | White sugar works well as well
- Cocoa Powder | To make these cookies taste chocolatey
- Eggs | The eggs bind the ingredients all together
- Vanilla Extract | Helps to enhance the flavours
- White Chocolate | Use any white or milk chocolate you like for these cookies
- Milk Chocolate | If you’re not a fan of milk chocolate swap these out for dark chocolate
Quick Recommendation: To create a visually appealing cookie, keep some chocolate to melt and then drizzle on the cookies
Quick Recommendation: I cannot begin to express enough how VITAL it is to SIEVE the flour and cocoa powder. If you don’t the cookie dough will form lumps of flour and cocoa : (
