Equipment

  • 2 Bowl Use the spare bowl for melting the chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2.4 Cups Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125g Butter
  • 1.5 Tbsp. Cocao Powder
  • Cups Brown Sugar White Sugar works just as well
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 86 g White Chocolate About ¼ slab of chocolate
  • 86 g Milk Chocolate About ¼ slab of chocolate

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 °C
  • In a bowl. combine the sugar and the melted butter until a smooth paste
  • Next, whisk in the eggs and continue to mix until smooth
  • Sieve out the cocoa powder and whisk into the wet ingredients. Add the vanilla extract and cotinue to mix. Set aside.
  • Chop up the chocolate and set aside.
  • Sieve the flour into the wet ingredients. Using a spatula or spoon fold the flour into the wet ingredients. Add the chocolate chips and continue to fold.
  • On a tray with baking paper, scoop out 12 balls of the dough and lay it on the tray. The cookies should be set 2 inches apart from the sides of the tray and from the cookies.
  • Chill the cookies in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. Then bake for 8 minutes.
  • Once the cookies are done let them cool.
  • Melt the spare chocolate and drizzle over the cookies.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • The cookie dough for this recipe is slightly soft and sticky to ensure they are gooey and fudgy. Avoid adding more flour as this will dry out the cookies.
