 Quick & Easy Pan Fried Pasta/Noodles

Ingredients

For the Sauce

  • 3-4 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (£0.27)
  • 1-2 tbsp Honey (£0.05)
  • 1 tsp Minced ginger
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic

Other

  • 250 g Manfredine Pasta (cooked) (£0.94)
  • 3 Diced Shallots (£0.35)
  • 1-2 Birds Eye Chillies (£0.11) `
  • A handful of Basil (I grow basil at home so this is no cost to me)
  • A handful of Parmesan (£0.60)
  • 2-3 tbsp 2-3 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • To make the sauce combine 3-4tbsp Dark Soy Sauce, 1-2 tbsp Honey, 1 tsp minced ginger, and 1 tsp minced garlic in a bowl.
  • In a medium to hot pan, fry the diced shallots and sliced chilli until the onions begin to go golden brown. Throw in the basil and fry together for 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn the heat high and cook the sauce until it bubbles up. Throw in the cooked pasta/noodles and fry for 2-3 minutes or until the pasta/noodles are covered in the sauce
  • Sprinkle in the parmesean and fry for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Top with parmsean and fresh basil
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use 1 or no chilli at all in this recipe if you prefer
