The BEST Crispy Tofu

If you HATE tofu like me then this recipe is for you. This Crispy Tofu has been seasoned and fried to perfection. It's crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside. If you're a big meat eater (like my family haha) I promise you will LOVE this recipe just as much as they do

Ingredients

  • 225 g Smoked Tofu (£2.50)
  • tsp Jumbo seasoning/Adobo seasoning (£0.07)
  • 1.5 tbsp Cornflower (£0.10)
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper (£0.03)
  • tsp Garlic powder
  • Sunflower/Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt optional
  • Pepper optional
  • Spring onion optional

Instructions

  • Chop the tofu into bitesize pieces or into even cubes.
  • In a bowl, season the tofu in cornflour and the seasonings.
  • In a medium-heated pan fry the tofu for 2-4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Drain the oil and season with salt and peppe.
  • Sprinkle fresh spring onion and enjoy ; )
